2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Groups and Point Table

The 2018 FIFA World Cup will be the 21st FIFA World cup. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Russia from 14 June to 15 July 2018. Total of 32 teams are participating in the mega event, among these 31 are selected through qualifying round while the other one is the host Russia. Of the 32 teams, 20 will be making back-to-back appearances following the last tournament in 2014, including defending champions Germany.  Iceland and Panama will both be making their first appearances at a FIFA World Cup.  Former Champion Italy failed to qualify for FIFA World Cup 2018. A total of 64 matches will be played in 12 venues located in 11 cities. The final will take place on 15 July in Moscow at the Luzhniki Stadium.2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Groups and Point Table

In group stage total of 32 teams are divided in eight groups, containing four teams each. The host Russia is included in Group A along with Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Uruguay. Defending champions Germany is included in Group F along with Mexico, Sweden and Korea Republic. Argentina is included in Group D, former champion Brazil in group E while Portugal in Group B.
